I don't watch TV.
Do you believe that there's truly something good in everyone?

Yes.
Do you think telly is losing its power over people now, what with the internet and music being so much easier to find and listen to nowadays?

Yes, especially the news outlets now that people have access to multiple sources in a few clicks- also despite their best efforts to come up with new technologies people seem happier just looking up a TV show online if they feel like watching a particular episode as opposed to having a subscription to multi channel platforms. BTw theyknowwhatimean have you started on Neil Young yet, or are you still wading through the Buzzcocks/Roses catalogues? Question:- Could civilisation cope with the collapse of internet and mobile communications, for example fuel or manufacturing resources running out?

BTw theyknowwhatimean have you started on Neil Young yet, or are you still wading through the Buzzcocks/Roses catalogues? Question:- Could civilisation cope with the collapse of internet and mobile communications, for example fuel or manufacturing resources running out? Well I bought the three solo records you recommended, last night, so I'll give one of them a listen today. But yeah, still quite big on the Buzzcocks and the Roses at the minute, but I'm sure that'll calm down some after tomorrow. To answer your question: civilisation'll just have to, won't they? When fuel and manufacturing resources, they'll be no option for humanity but to grit their teeth and bear it as everyone must do during a tragedy. No doubt it'd be utter chaos for a while, because we've allowed the internet and whatnot to become so entrenched in our everyday lives, but eventually, people's spirit and strength would return to them and they'd adapt where they have to. Mutual respect.
Do you think the peace and love movement of the 60s should have lasted, maybe evolved to be more realistic, or were there too many problems with it to begin with?

Unfortunately, for movements to continue to grow and succeed they need financial resources... the 60's love movement was made up of primarily young, disenfranchised people who were so staunchly anti establishment that many of them refused to work or contribute to what they viewed as the societal machine. Should there be more love today? Absolutely. What time do you rise each day?

Documentary - at first I wasn't excited expecting the same old same old, and now I am cautiously optimistic. I may even plan my trip to the UK to hopefully coincide with the release as I doubt it will get much play over here (the US).
What is your most prized possession?

My wife and children. Everything else is just stuff.
What does the word "family" mean to you?

I think I posted this elsewhere but "Family" to me is the people you love, trust and would do anything for and they in turn for you. It certainly is not limited to nor does it necessarily have to include blood relations. How are you feeling today? ( @kitjensen hope you are having a better day workwise today )

Today has thus far been fine. I'm in a good mood and can't be arsed to care about current issues swirling about.
guigsysEstring was chosen over guigsysGstring... but why?

I have been unfortunate enough to be around enough bollocks in my life without wishing to permanently attach myself to one man's groin area via a G string No in all seriousness it was chosen as a tribute from a fellow bass player to Guigsy's comment around the Be Here Now release that he "Used to only play on the top string- come to think about I still do"! I found it a charming and honest assessment of his bass playing from a man who seemingly was always uncomfortable with stardom, yet without whom in terms of gang image, keep it simple bass lines and personality which helped smooth troubled times Oasis might never have had their success. Do you play or harbour ambitions to play a particular instrument?
