I love it, I think it's brilliant and I think it's one of the greatest. Happy (?) Birthday Dig Out Your Soul.

You killed yourself here mate, no Oasis fan referes Oasis as "this band", get your stupid ass out of this forum, you're not an Oasis fan, you're only a intruder here to slag Oasis of. so he has to blindly love every table scrap they release? screw that. they haven't made a great album since sotsog, really. nothing special. not many songs since then scream greatness. i really wish they experimented more like they did for sotsog. i disagree with some of what the guy had to say, but he did have some points. points that have been exhausted on this forum time and time again, but still.

It's not just the worst Oasis album, but one of the worst albums I've heard... Flat sound with ridiculous lyrics.. I really thought it couldn't get any worse than DBTT, I was wrong. Why isn’t Oasis well known in the US? They can't make a hit song between them and if they do they destroy it with their great production skills.. They should name this band "excuses" because that’s what everyone does here... Excuses for Liam's poor concert performance, excuses for their poor song quality, excuses for the their shitty sales in the US(must be the Americans, can't possibly be the fact that they haven't released anything good in a zillion years") This band started out strong and had potential but now they‘re just a joke that should have broke up after WTSMG. Liam can’t sing and Noel isn’t the song writer he used to be which is making a creative version of someone else’s songs. Can't decide what is worse, this guys blatant attempt to get a rise out of people or the people who actually fall for it...

DOYS for me still isn't that good a listen, it's one of the two albums (HC being the other) that I skip tracks on. I still can't listen to (GOY)HHL no matter how much I play it. I only reach half way before I skip. NOR has imporved on me a lot but I still reckon it's poor compared to the songs that COULD have been on as well.
1. (WTS)MG 2. DM
The thing is, them two are and always will be on their own
3. DBTT (I just feel the flow is just so perfect, I always listen to it all the way through) 4. SOTSOG (THE most underated album of the lot, can't people nobody outside Oasis really knows about this) 5. BHN (The overproduced and coke filed shows now for me. It's dated and for me, apart from certain tracks(DYKWIM?, SBM, AATW and DGA) it's just not that good anymore)
6. DOYS 7. HC (The worst, and for me apart from the singles, nothing that makes me want to go back and put it on)

I burnt a copy of strangers original cd, and then a bought it. Really psychedelic feel on it, like all my records.
but I disagree with someone who said "i really wish they experimented more like they did for sotsog", because if you think sunday morning call is experimenting, you're way wrong ;D

DOYS is not crap. To think you have The Turning and Bag it Up which both will go down as great lost classics. For me if these tracks were in the set list it would have changed the tour for the better and the album would have easily received more props as the tour carried on They are both very strong tunes and I'm still gutted that I never got to hear them live and I attended 7 gigs on the last tour in 4 different countries.

A year later, most of the album has wore thin for me, to be honest. I still love TSOTL, and my love for WFTR continues to grow. But the rest just seems a bit like an afterthought. I mean, I can't tell you the last time I listened to GOYHHL, AGN, TNOR, or SO.

I wish they had put out the remixes as singles than the actual tracks, it would have been different and people wouldn't be calling it the "same shit." I've at least been listening to the remixes + alternatives more than the actual album. I remember when we heard there'd be a 22 remix we all were loathing about it and how it'd be crap, but most of us really enjoyed it. We also thought Dave Sardy was a shit producer because of the 30 second clips we all heard in the beginning.

Listened to it yesterday. It IS a good record, but it just lacks that one great song in towards the end to hold up the second half of the album.

I thought my post was pretty funny myself, but apparently you are the only other person who agrees . . . btw whos NL4E?? he asks him self that every morning jk jk you'll find out. He is one of the main posters on here. He can make redudant topics or in-depth analysis on anything among other things. A lot of the members make fun of him. He loves Oasis unshamedly. Opposes: Obama, doesn't think Coldplay is the biggest band in the world, and he likes Third Eye Blind. Yeah I really don't mind him (we tend to agree on a lot of things) but some people on here do. Either way NL4E is a key contributor to this site.

Opposes: doesn't think Coldplay is the biggest band in the world I, on the other hand, do. It's very much a bone of contention between us. He just can't bring himself to admit I'm right.

sorry, guys. don't think it's a great album. i think SOTL is a fantastic rocker with a great hook in the chorus. WFTR is a good tune. BIU and TT just lack that something that songs like Some Might Say and Rock n Roll Star have. The rest of the album is soporific. even falling down lost it's allure with me. give it *** stars out of *****.
