So I was reading this article in a paper here in the U.K and it says this: After eight weeks of sessions at Abbey Road studios, Liam had yet to record a single vocal. Speaking to Q magazine, Noel revealed that Liam waited until mixing for the album commenced in LA before recording his vocals. Even then, halfway though the fortnight-long stay in LA, Liam fled to London, saying he had “some business to attend to”. This, it turns out, was his wedding to Appleton, to which none of his bandmates had been invited. As a result, Noel told Q, the band were forced to shelve two album tracks, including “an epic, Champagne Supernova song with backwards Are You Experienced-type rhythms” and a 50-piece choir. Anything but contrite, Liam tweeted: “A 50-piece choir on it ... more like 50 shit guitar solos on it.” What do you think it was? I REALLY want to hear it! entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/music/article6820706.ece

But record machine is SUBLIME as it is from the Don't Believe The Truth sessions. Unless they went back and redid it?
I've heard of Come on , It's alright. . .hopefully we get to hear them. . .perhaps the demo sessions will leak (just like the DBTT ones).

Record Machine
With a few developed solos and improved lyrics, this had potential to be one of their best songs. I hope they get back together and then develop this tune.

Record Machine has potential, but I think it's far from 'great' as it stands now.
And yea, Noel was referring to RM or 'Come On, It's Alright'. I know I read in a magazine that he wanted CO,IA to be on DOYS, but Liam's wedding prevented that from happening.

Record Machine WOULD be epic if finished, the guitar solo in just monumental
actually recording the albums seem to be more harmonious that the touring, so would we be happy if they released just an album and not tour? An album full of greatness to end maybe

RM could be one of the best songs they've ever done if it was worked on properly.

Anyone noticed how much it resembles Let's All Make Believe?

RM has great potential. It sounds good already, just imagine it with better developed solos as Noel had prebiously described. Now, the lyrics are shit, over all, but I'm sure Noel could approve them easily.
The demo is already decent but has SO much potential. And it's a real shame if they never get back together to release this tune in its proper form.
