$0 --Oasis concert in Camden, NJ (3 tickets): Birthday present from family --Oasis t-shirt: Birthday present from sister -- Normal album version = xmas present (after having it for months illegally downloaded) :-) So you didn't buy anything? No singles or anything? And you're supposed to be a hardcore fan? ;D

So you didn't buy anything? No singles or anything? And you're supposed to be a hardcore fan? ;D Hah:D Agree to that. Although, I do hate it when people 100% seriously think the amount of items and stuffs one owns reflects how HC fan one is. Some people do that. Not everyone have the money, some people just aren't collectors, some people like to keep stuff they own as minimum as possible... Personally I don't own any of the DOYS singles, running on such low budget so I saved all that money to go see them live in UK

Good to see people who aren't forking out cash to buy shitty singles and useless crappy boxsets just for the sake of it. I only bought the album - I downloaded the rest of the singles and the bogus - ups "bonus" disc off the internet. If you got all releases in a gazillion different formats then good for you, but it doesn't really make you bigger or better than anyone else here.

agreed, being a fan has nothing to do with how much cash you shell out, God knows they all have enough money as it is.

So I got what I wanted by not spending a penny? I think that's smart on my part. Questioning a fans' committment on what he spends is just foolish and wrong.
Knowing the history of the band, the lyrics to every song, the cultural importance, and the personal meaning to the fan in question is more important than the material good.
It's amazing - Oasis have taught us all to be ourselves and not to be superficial but here are some of you judging others on the items that have been bought. That pretty much goes against the Oasis beliefs....

Well I bought the album, singles and tickets for the live show (front row), but nothing else. But every "peso" spent was worthy.

$14 for the album, $5 to have NME/TSOTL single shipped to me, and I still owe money to sword for the IOT single that he sent me ages ago. So not really all that bad.
