Well with the current volitile relationship between Noel and Liam, I am assuming I have no chance of seeing the boys on this tour. I was just wondering if anyone had maybe heard any rumors of a US tour.

It's not looking too likely, which is a shame because they missed many major metro areas: Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, etc.

This depresses me. Actually, it seems lately that most of the bands I love have stopped coming to Atlanta on their tours. Guess it's time to get out of this state.

After missing them during the DBTT tour, I swore I'd make an extra effort to see them here in the US no matter what this time around. So the week before I take a week-long trip to Vegas, they play in Vegas. Then, when I'm in Vegas for a week, they play in DC at the Patriot Center, a mere hour from where I live. And that was that.....

not trying to give up total hope yet, but... I'd say if they were to come back, it's going to be something that'll probably be super quick. Like maybe 4-5 cities and thats it. a girl can always dream, cant she?

Yeah, I saw them in Houston in '06 and the fan support was great. I hope they don't just disregard us down here in Texas again for another 10 years.

My only chance to see them would likely be Chicago since they'll never come to St. Louis, but I don't blame them at all for not coming here. I guess I'll just have to wait until the next album/tour, whenever that will be.

Oasis certainly have the profile and fan base to re-visit America.
On the last tour they toured America on 3 x occassion. June 2005 Sept 2005 Mar 2006
Atlanta and Boston would be good cities to play.

Another thing that puzzles me... Florida Why no shows in Florida? Surely, Miami, Clearwater and Orlando could hold an oasis concert......

Well, I guess this V cancellation solidifies the day dreams of a 2009 Fall US Tour, its NOT HAPPENING!!! A bit miffed that there was no second leg or more dates in the States when they had their go last winter. DOYS tour = Meh...See you guys in 2012

They were saying they were supposed to be back in May (of this year) during the Dec. tour. But yeah, I'd put my money on 2012 seeing them on the road again.

i'm pretty sure they were gonna do a second leg in the US in september or october as well one in Australia
i talked to a guy of their crew in Brazil (can't remember which city though) and he said they'd scrap it
shame, the US DBTT tour was a huge success 21 gigs!!! 3 legs

By 2012, we may think it's a new tour but it will almost be a Nostalgia act tour (for the U.S. market) by then.
SCYHO, Lyla & Shock made some minor dents in the alternative singles charts but they will be playing small arenas in the U.S. by 2012 or they will need a double act of someone equal or as big.
I figure I won't see Oasis for a long time if ever again unless I make a trip to NY, LA, Chicago etc.

Folks out here (that's not to say EVERYONE but, the masses) will be expecting a "Greatest Hits" type of gig. Unless Noel writes 90% of the album and it equally ranks up there with MG, then things might be different...I get a feeling of a LOOONG break coming (3-5yrs) and "personnel" changes a la Guigs/Bonehead within the band. Noel will do his solo stint, which I'll be open to. Saw them at Staples in Dec. and made the journey out to Vegas. That Vegas gig was magic.

i don't fucking know why these american fuckers open those threads like every month. they won't play there a second time, why should they? the crowd over there is fucking horrible and they already played there. so there's no reason to come back..

They're the only stable members in it atm...
