In comparison with Saturdays performance oasis were pretty poor on thursday. Saturday was on another level, best iv ever seen them if im honest. And that gig will go down in history as one of the best ever - the crowd just so up for it. Noel brilliant, liam top of his game. One of the best performances of Champagne supernova ive heard. It pissed down all night but it didnt matter. The sound was brilliant and every song was played perfect. I cant wait to see this on dvd (Its bound to happen). Kasabian were amazing on the saturday. The whole pitch was jumping, really set the mood. I came away on thursday, thinking 'that was a good gig'. But i came away on saturday, drenched, covered in piss and sweat, with a smile from one ear to the other. In the words of Liam - "We aint splitting up, were just getting started"

Fair enough, but a bit harsh for those of us who went on Thursday.

I went thursday and wouldnt say they were poor but agree that saturdays performance was one of their best ever, sound was amazing and Liams vocals were the best Ive heard them since the 90's.

Just an amazing gig. I've seen them in Toronto, and they've been on, but this was another level.

Kasabian was the best "fire starter" for this gig...

thursday wasnt crap at all. went all days. Noel seemed most moody on Saturday really, he was more .. whatstheword.. well you know, moving and singing along and just doing all the showoff guitarplaying stuff etc more on thursday and sunday, not so much on saturday. that's not to say saturday was bad, total opposite. Magical. But it didn't overshadow Thursday so badly that I'd call Thursday poor or something silly.
