Roddick was so damn close! It was an epic match!
But I like Roger, and he is the greatest ever.

Well he's number one again because Rafa is injured. And remember he's just 23, he'll be the greatest ever when he retires. Anyway congratulations to Roger for this trophy.

Nadal won't be playing at such a high level for much longer, recurring injuries will mean the end of his career at a young age... Today's match was EPIC! Federer really is the best ever not only because he plays like the gods but because his determination is out of this world Y ya lo ve y ya lo ve, para Rafa que lo mira por TV !!!!!!

I was cursing when Roger didn't win last year. It's a privelege to watch a legend in action.
Still, the disappointment of last year doesn't come close to the shattering feeling I had in 2001 when Tim Henman lost to Ivanisavic in the semi final. I'll never get over that.

Roger is the bollocks, but I always remember when Fernando Gonzalez beated him for the first time. Good times.

well, it wasn't Roger's lucky day. he's without a doubt the greatest player of all time, but Del Potro was truly magnificent throughout the whole tournament. he crashed Nadal and he just handled the adversity and pulled through against the number 1. I couldn't be happier for Del Potro, a really humble guy with a brilliant future.
vamos Delpo!!!

Del Potro was great today, but Roger really sucked, especially at the end.

#16 for Roger!
All I have to say to Federer's detractors is: Enjoy this man while he's active. It will be a very long time before another player like him comes along, it's not even a certainty that there'll be another one like him.
As Noel said once: THIS IS HISTORY!
