I heard from some people that the seating was supposed to be general admission, and then assigned seats behind that. So when I went to the pre-sale, I was hoping that I would find tickets that would say general admission.
But instead it was either concourse seating or floor seating with sections.
I assumed that this meant it was not general admission, so I kept looking for tickets that would get me as close to center stage as possible. I wanted to be within 25 feet of Liam.
But I couldn't find any. They were all row O, Q, M, or something further back in floor seating.
I'm gonna try again in the actual general public sale on Friday hoping to get real close seats.
This is my first time buying tickets for or going to a concert so I'm slightly confused.
What would be the best possible seats for me to get? Section 2, row A-C? Is general admission still possible?
Any tips or information on what the best seats for me to get would be helpful. Thanks.

I got row A in section 101, so I bought them. hoping to get better ones down the road. General sale, craigslist, etc....
They only release a very limited amount of the good seats for the presale. I think it just creates an artificial sense of demand among hard core fans.

I had the same issue. Ended up settling for 4 tickets in section 6 floor seating row 0 I think. Not the best seats but at least theyre on the floor. I went to see Muse there a year or two ago and it was general admission with seating around the perimeter. I'm suprised they have seats on the floor for this show. Good news is that the venue is not all that big so any seat will give you a decent view.
Oh well...it's going to rule and I'll be there bright and early tailgating.

I've seen Oasis at the Patriot Center 3 times and every show was General Admission. I am clueless as to why they have decided to abandon General admission ticketing this time around. Regardless, I've found the best seats are those in the first row of the non-floor sections, especially if you are on Noel's side. On the other hand, the Patriot Center is a rather small venue...

So does this mean they are just gonna put a bunch of chairs on the floor?
That doesn't sound too bad.
Oh and a side question:
Are the Wembley and Manchester shows general admission? There don't seem to be any seats there.
(sorry, I'm new to this concert stuff)

yea, for some reason they have done away with the GA floor seating that they had in the past. Shame, as the floor used to be rockin'. I din't like the options I was getting with floor tix, so I went with seats in 115.

It's pretty ridiculous that there is no general admission. I was really hoping there would be GA and I could get there early to get close.

Price? no, the price was pretty much the same, but the floor seats were way in the back and I've seen the band live from the very front a few times. (plus my wife is short!!!) I was able to get really good seats in the concourse on the side.

For the floor seats, how do you know where in the row your seat is?
Like lets say someone is in Section 3, Row M. How do they know where in the row their seat is? Near the front, in the middle, in the end?
Or is it just based in first come first serve? Just want to clear this up before I buy any tickets.

Section 3 is a blocking of seats which are divided into rows starting with Row A. So if you are in row M then you would be 18 or so rows back from the front of the section. Then you have seats 1- 16 or whatever for that row.

I think I'm cool with the row A seats on the side. I got some floor/GA seats for Vegas and hopefully I will for LA/Staples center too. Ryan Adams is also one of my favorite artists so this tour is a slam dunk for me. I think for his set I will be glad to have a seat.
I hope there is some love for Oasis here in DC. How was the DC show on the last tour? Anybody go?

I was at the Merriweather Post Pavillion show the last go-round and it was amazing. The band sounded awesome, the setlist was fantastic and I was thrilled about the crowd's reaction/involvement...there was plenty of singing along and enthusiasm. really cant wait for the show in fairfax

You'll be fine pretty much anywhere in the Patriot Center as it is not a very big arena. Its less than half the capacity of MSG. The entire gig is seated.

Does anyone know how many seats total are there in Section 2, Row D?
Because I have Section 2, Row D, Seat 16.
Am I near the middle of the row, or towards the end near the aisle?

I have 10 people going with me. lol, we are split up in groups of 5 in section 103. Doing away with GA is so fucking retarded. I've seen Oasis in 96, 98, and 2000 at the Patriot center and I loved the GA. fuckers. Anyway, in 2005 at merriweather (actually its columbia, md. between baltimore and DC) I was suprised at how big the crowd was because in 2001 they were there with the black crowes and the lawn was like empty, but in 05 the lawn was pretty full. I remember JET were getting annoyed cause no one was really into them. Also, I was drunk most of the damn show which ruined it.. Never again doing that.
