great clip. could noel have possibly sung Lord Dont Slow Me Down? What a cool role switch after all these years. From the beginning chords you can kind of hear where the title words would fit over the music...

It sounds a bit like Turn up the Sun and Eye Ball T.-
It seems to be a good song, however I'll wait to hear the final version to give my opinion.-But I'm happy to hear that Noel is writting real rock and roll songs again (not those popish songs like Lyla)
The good thing is that Noel is on vocals...
Did you hear Liam's voice on the clip?? Horrible...
Sorry but I'm hearing a gig from 1997 now...He was the best singer in the world of Rock and Roll, but as I said he was...

Liam's voice in those live clips do sound bad. I saw them in Atlanta when the previous show in Houston was cancelled in 2005 b/c of a Hurricane. He sounded great.
Sad to say but he needs rest between dates meaning less dates. Second he isn't trying to sing, he's screaming w/ the bad boy attitude. He should just sing and leave the amps to belt the sound out.
Once again he sounded fine in Atlanta on 4-5 days rest.
Can't wait for DVD though.

the new song is good but it would be just fucking fantastic if liam sang it..... the feel of the song suits better liam snarl and aggressive vocals

yea I felt the same way, I think Noel is singing too many songs. He wasn't have any lead vocals on definitely maybe and now he's writing songs for himself left and right. I think RKid should sing all but a few of the songs

Noel's voice sounds amazing on that track. Liam doesn't have the range that Noel does and I think a Liam sung version of that song would sound like shit.
I do have a question though, during the "chorus", is that Noel backing up himself? He should have Gem do it if it is.

maybe Liam has been too busy with drinking and partying and not enough time to make any vocals

Mentioned this on another part of the board, but got no responses: I love the new song, but sounds a lot like Satellite by the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Anyone agree? I believe Noel is a fan of theirs, too.
