I mean where in fuck he comes up with these ideas sudden and out of the blue. Most Americans are worried about getting the troops out of Iraq, foreign relations, economy, jobs, and health care, but no our US President suddenly today had a bright idea about having more nuclear power plants being built in US. Come on, is this guy joking or is he watching too much of The Simpsons. Nuclear spills and the effects on environment is way too much a risk for American's health and land. Why can't we use wind and solar energy. Look at Denmark for Christ sakes. We have tons and tons of land place things like that.
This president is most out of sink and so sporadic President the US ever had. I'm very ashame of having him as president personally.

Yeah, you're right. But those are just ideas that still have to be approved to be a reality. If the Congress approves it then it's just a lot of people to blame there. Main responsible isn't Bush though...are the people who put him there in the first place, I think everyone was aware of what an idiot the guy is.

i actually agree with him on this one. nuclear power is the cleanest power source that makes sense. the cost of wind, solar and waterpowered energy stands in no relation to the output yet so bring on the nuclear power

You better be hoping for some pretty windy days for those windmills to take equivalent effect!

Sure, it's expensive, but don't you think USA government can afford it??...just look how much they've spent on war. I'm aware that it also affects wild life but so does radioactive waste, not to mention you could suffer an accident and it would be a much bigger dissaster...Chernobyl?

money can change a lot...if only the lobbyists would get thrown out of the parliaments you could actually support something new. alternative energy resources may need development, so instead of funding the nuclear energy industry one could think about increasing the support for R&D in new energy sources. ..sounds a bit too idealistic

EDIT: I don't know why I keep replying to this, I'm not an enviroment freak in the first place ;D. I started about Bush's incompetence for the job...and then I got carried away I think, although I stand for what I said......anyway, nice talking to you feckarse

There was massive planning amongst thousands of experts over many decades.....

But we do need to start looking long term and making sacrifices for the future

Uh...dude you need to put solar panels over like, all of Australia in order to produce enough electricity to light an attic.
