Ok, I want everybody to post his/her favourite solos and riffs to play. I LOVE playing solos and riffs but i crack my mind on which ones to play... so: post away, to give me, and each other, inspiration...

cream- crossroads led zep- heartbreaker oasis- champagne supernova strokes- reptillia stone roses- fools gold.. those are just a few.. we have similar tastes in riffs, man... was gonna say strokes reptilia, champagne supernova (solo), and cream's crossroads. Voodoo chile (jimi hendrix), paperback writer (beatles), and last time (stones) are also good main riffs... although the best riffs you learn are not really off records, but you pick up from other people...just my opinion. these are ones that are just fun to play, or mess around with in the context of a song.

nah i think i got a cooler video of voodoo chile...
stevie ray vaughan played a KILLER cover, i mean like real breathtaking, with extended jam section and everything on austin city limits...in the middle of the solo, a string breaks though. it was godlike...some guy came up behind him and took his guitar off and strapped a new one (his number one strat I believe), on him and he went right back into it...absolutely breathtaking...
another incident happened in The Band's Last Waltz movie/concert...claptons stratocasters strap fell off in the middle of a song and robbie robertson played a solo until clapton got it fixed. really cool and candid.
