hey all
caught a particularly nasty trojan yesterday i think avg has dealt with it but now when i fire up the comp i get the windows xp sign-on page (which i never did before) asking me for u/n and p/w
im sure i know the p/w (u/n is prefilled) but it doesnt work
so im stuck
ideas anyone?

can you boot into safe mode? and then check if the user log in screen is checked....

thanks mate but dont work still puts up logon to windows screen
cant get to safe mode

the trojan probably damaged the users config file.
can you enter with the default Administrator account?
