Don't know if it's true, (but I guess it's not) Found this Tracklist from the new Album on an italian Oasis-Site:
Quote: Just got that via mail:
1. The Days So Far 2. Overdriven 3. Brighter Thirteen 4. Love 5. Stop The Clocks 6. Lord Don't Slow Me Down 7. Leave The Lonely 8. The Boy With The Blues 9. Ministry Of Sound 10. Everyone Is Still Here But Me 11. Miss Arden 12. (no title) 13. I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine |
|
Could be true.

unlikely... It would be shit if they put LDSMD on the album... I love the song, but I've listened to it a lot, I want new things... the only good thing about this list is it has 13 songs!! I wish oasis would put at least 12 songs on the album, they've never had more than eleven

Yeah, I don't know if this is correct. I don't believe track lists before I read about them in NME or from their official site. The only thing believable about this, is that Stop The Clocks, The Boy With The Blues and I Wanna Live My Life In My Record Machine are on it. Anybody know when the actual track list for Don't Believe The Truth was released?

Well yeah but that doesn't make it any more believeable, I mean everyone knows those songs. If I came up with a listing like:
1 - The Bare Buns Of The Baboon 2 - I'm Scared Of Cotton Wool 3 - Lord Don't Slow Me Down 4 - How Can I Tell You I Love You When You're Sitting On My Face? 5 - The Boy With The Blues 6 - The Girl With The Purples 7 - I Want To Stare Into Your Eyes (But I Have a Lazy Eye) 8 - Stop The Clocks 9 - It's Raining In My Heart, But Strong Easterly Winds Will Clear It By The Afternoon 10 - Your Arse Casts a Shadow Over The Land 11 - Everyone's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Pet Tortoise Alan 12 - I Wanna Live In A Dream In My Record Machine
It wouldn't be believe just cos those four are on it

Ha ha You got a valid point there, mate. I was referring to the individual songs themselves, meaning they where the ones I really believe would make it on the new album.

They don't do the tracklisting until they mix down all of the songs...which obviously hasn't been completed or maybe even started yet. Clever song names though

"Everyone Is Still Here But Me," although very likely not a real song... if it were, it would totally be a Liam tune.

it's possible to Lord Don't Slow Me Down be included on the new album noel said on the dvd that version is a demo (so why release it as a single?) anyway, i hope it's a different version with electrics guitars and liam's vocals

Noel said The Importance Of Being Idle, Mucky Fingers, and several others were demos that they didn't bother touching up because they were good enough. So that doesn't really mean much.

well noel was wrong cos mucky fingers sucks
One good thing is that every oasis album has a special sound and atmosphere They're all very different from each other... which means that the new one is not going to be a DBTT bis

Wonder if we'll get to know the new tracklist for the album by then? I can't wait for NME to have an interview with the band, and on the front cover it reads "World Exclusive - Oasis reveal all about the new album". Hope we'll get that real soon

Let the round of rumours begin!! And since the album it's still mixing I bet this is pure BS...the names are very cool though....
oh, and I really hope LDSMD it's not on the album, Noel can do sooo much better... and nobody wants to hear and old song on a new album
| I speak directly to you people of South America. You have been truly amazing. It's been a privilege to play for you. The memories of this little tour will live with me for a long time. Mucho gracias and obrigado.
